Word on the street is....

Our friends were talking to day that some of their American friends have been recieving emails from the U.S. Embassy telling them not to panic and there is no need to leave Lebanon this weekend due to the elections. The U.S. Government seems to think that the election on Sunday will go smoothly and little chaos should ensue. That is good news. But I am curious as to why the U.S. Gov didnt send me an email?! haha Maybe they dont care about me! Just thought you should know that at least the US is predicting a safe and peaceful election, they just warn (like everyone already knows) to stay away from large crowds and try not to go out a lot this weekend.
